Brittanie Simonsen, PA-C

Certified Physician Assistant

I grew up on a farm outside of the small town of Hardy, Nebraska. I graduated from Superior High School in 2009 and went on to attend Nebraska Wesleyan University. It was there that I discovered my interest in the sciences, my passion for medicine, and the importance in helping others. I applied for the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and was accepted to begin my studies in the fall of 2013. Throughout the course of the program, I developed great interest in Family Medicine. The importance of Family Practice in the rural setting is paramount, because providers have the capability to make a significant difference in smaller communities. I am excited to return to a small community like the one I was raised in, and I pledge to work hard to make a positive impact on this community.
